Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the MySafeHands mobile application (“App”) operated by SafeHands LLC (“SafeHands,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
SafeHands is a care coordination application designed to help family caregivers organize, track, and share health information. The App provides tools for managing health profiles, medications, appointments, vital signs, care team coordination, and general health guidance.
SafeHands is not a medical device, medical service, or healthcare provider.The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. All health-related content within the App, including the Guidance section, is for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided in this App.If you believe you or someone you care for is experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency services (such as 911) immediately.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and entering health data.
You may not use another person’s account without permission.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of health information you enter into the App.
SafeHands does not verify the accuracy of any health data entered by users.
Decisions about medical care should always be made in consultation with qualified healthcare professionals, not based solely on information stored in the App.
SafeHands offers subscription plans that provide access to the App’s features.
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Payment terms, renewal, and cancellation are governed by the respective app store’s policies.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account settings.
If your subscription expires, your data will remain accessible in a read-only format. You will not be able to add or edit information until you resubscribe.
When you invite someone to your Care Circle, you are granting them access to view or edit health profile data based on the permission level you assign.
You are responsible for managing who has access to your health profiles.
SafeHands is not responsible for how Care Circle members use the information they access.
You agree not to:
Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
Interfere with or disrupt the App’s functionality
Upload malicious content or code
Use the App to store information for anyone without their knowledge or consent
Misrepresent yourself or your relationship to the person whose profile you are managing
The App, including its design, features, content, and code, is the property of SafeHands LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SafeHands LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.SafeHands LLC is not liable for:
Medical outcomes or health decisions made based on information in the App
Inaccurate health data entered by users
Actions taken or not taken based on the Guidance section content
Loss of data due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Unauthorized access to your account resulting from your failure to protect your credential
You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
